Everything was good: pesto panini, black and bleu salad, meat lover pizza, and Mediterranean salad. The horseradish mustard that came with the panini could have been used with everything else because it is so delicious and versatile.

We happen upon this location , just north of Hagerstown, when we were heading south on vacation. What a hidden gem! We got a rice bowl with beef, which was absolutely delicious, and an apple grape walnut and chicken salad, which was very good. Our waitress was friendly, the food was delicious, and the service was prompt. Lovely, clean atmosphere very tasteful. We will definitely try to make it again on our way back home.

Stopped in for lunch during a trip with my family. I almost turned around and left when I pulled up outside the restaurant because there were no cars in front and it didn’t look like anybody was inside. But then I parked, saw people inside, went in and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. We had salad and lasagna. Both were delicious. The staff were also exceptional. Glad I didn’t judge the book by the cover and leave!

This review is many, many years overdue but Cafe Del Sol has been my #1 spot for so long. Its my go-to recommendation for a guaranteed good meal and good service. I dont remember when I started coming but I ate here for my 18th birthday back in 2007 and have been steadily returning ever since. The chicken caesar wrap has a chokehold on me, so much so that I have a hard time ever ordering anything else. I've had the pizza, chicken parm, nachos, and pesto panini which are all great and I highly recommend but the chicken caesar wrap is unmatched. I'm being dramatic but if it was ever taken off the menu or changed it would probably ruin my life. It's at the top of my list of favorite foods and I've gone to great lengths to make sure I can enjoy it, even when I lived thousands of miles away. I spent 5 years living in California and dare I admit that numerous times in those 5 years I made family members go through security and fly cross-country with a chicken caesar wrap in tow to get my fix. These days I don't have a Cafe Del Sol local to me (up around Carlisle) but I order take out as often as I can when I pass through. I cant recommend this place enough. As a self proclaimed chicken caesar connoisseur your going to have to trust me that their caesar wrap is unmatched. Its a must if you're in Hagerstown, Chambersburg, the surrounding areas, or passing through!

5/5 stars doesn’t even begin to describe how incredible Cafe Del Sol is! My boyfriend and I always make it a point to stop in when we are in Hagerstown, and it never disappoints! We always have the same lovely waitress, whose name I unfortunately cannot remember. She is incredibly charming and provides excellent service without fail. Our favorite appetizers are the Ahi Tuna Tostadas and the Calamari, both are incredible and presented beautifully. The menu has so many unique and flavorful options to choose from, there is something for everyone! The vibe and atmosphere is unmatched, it’s the perfect mix of casual and classy, an excellent choice for date night. On our most recent trip, we got the Ahi Tuna Salad and Chimichurri Steak Tacos, they were both PHENOMENAL!! The presentation of our dishes were amazing, and the taste was even better. If you’re thinking of trying Cafe Del Sol, do it you will not regret it!!

Don't let location steer you away from this great spot. Romantic enough for date night but also quaint for an impromptu meet. The servers are all so nice and the food came out very quick! The food was delicious. It's a tad on the pricey side so don't expect cheap prices, but it is well worth it.

We recently visited Cafe Del Sol for the first time. Carla greeted us at the door and seated us in a very nice booth and gave us some menus to look over. We couldn't decide on a single thing so we ordered three items to share between the two of us plus an appetizer. We had the bao sliders for an appetizer. The pork in them was so flavorful and tender, accompanied by a great sauce and crispy slaw. For our entrees we chose the Cuban sandwich, short rib burger, and the crispy fish tacos. We ordered garlic parm fries with both the burger and Cuban, and the tacos came with a side of a simple, yet so delicious, rice. We knew we weren't going to finish everything, but only one quarter of the burger, half of the Cuban, and one taco went home, along with one of the bao sliders. Everything was so well made and so flavorful. We look forward to many more visits to see Carla in our future.
